We #wearitpink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Posted on Tuesday, October 24th, 2017 by

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. In the UK, 1 in 8 women and 1 in 870 men are diagnosed with breast cancer during their lifetime. Inspired by Breast Cancer Now’s #wearitpink campaign, we went all out to raise awareness and donations to fund lifesaving research and support.

In true Outlook style, what started as a call to #wearitpink became a Sports Day-style lunchtime tournament, organised with only three days’ notice by the incredible Events team. From Giant Jenga and Boob Pong (more innocent than it sounds), to Dance-offs and a Selfie Scavenger Hunt. It then all ended in a company-wide Tug-of-War in the carpark!

Our huge efforts raised an extraordinary £1,200 to support Breast Cancer Now.
